James Harris James R. Harris

Jim Harris founded Harris Law Offices in 1980. Since that time, Jim has practiced law in Lincoln, Nebraska with an emphasis in workers’ compensation and civil litigation from the plaintiff’s side. He has been an active member of the Board of Directors of the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys, and is immediate past president of that organization. Also served as Political Action Chair for that organization from 2000 to 2005 and was Legislative Chair in 2007. In Worline v. ABB Alstrom, the Nebraska Supreme Court held that the plaintiff’s psychological injuries were compensable under the Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Act, as long as they were causally related to his physical injuries.
